SOCIAL COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Thriving Families hosts regular opportunities for people to connect with each other. These spaces are deliberately set up to welcome the diversity of people in our community. We are often outside in public/communal spaces, as we believe in the uniqueness of being visible and accessible to the community. Obviously our base is The Nambour Community Centre and many of our Strong Women, Young Women's and The Crew (young men's) groups are held here.
NAMBOUR YOUNG CREATIVE
We understand that a lot of families don’t have access to childcare or childminding so almost all our spaces are welcoming for people in virtu to 110 years of age.
Thriving Families adopts an open door or no door policy for all our spaces. EVERY single programme and activity is open to community, just rock up if you want to. For some of our more formal parent education or workshop spaces we ask for registration, but if life gets in the way and you forget to register please still come along. As part of our commitment to families and community all of our spaces and programmes are FREE.
